Platform Overview
haul is a hyperlocal marketplace that lets buyers assemble a small cart of items from local shops for same-day delivery, with a window to keep or return each item.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or placing an order on haul, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
Consent to Use of Personal Information
Your use of haul is also governed by our Privacy Policy, and by using the platform you consent to the collection and use of information as described there.
Modifications to the Terms
haul may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch, and delivered items may be returned within the window shown at checkout, subject to each store's return policy; eligible refunds exclude the delivery fee.
Your Commitments
You agree to provide accurate account and delivery information and to use the platform only for genuine personal purchases.
Permissions You Give to Us
You permit haul to share necessary order details with the seller and delivery partner involved in fulfilling your order.
Additional Rights We Retain
haul may decline or cancel an order, at its discretion, in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or unavailability of stock.
Content Removal and Account Termination
haul may remove content or suspend an account that violates these terms or applicable law.
Our Agreement and Disputes
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and haul regarding your use of the platform.
Who Has Rights Under this Agreement
These terms are for the benefit of you and haul only, and do not create rights for any other person or entity.
Who Is Responsible if Something Happens
haul facilitates the connection between buyers, sellers, and delivery partners, but the underlying sale of goods is between the buyer and the seller.
Delivery, Delivery Fee, Other Fees, and Delivery Time
Delivery is provided for a flat fee shown at checkout, with an estimated delivery window based on store pack time and transit distance; actual times may vary.
Verification of Companies and Verified Accounts
Seller storefronts on haul are onboarded and verified by haul before they can list products for sale.
How We Will Handle Disputes
Disputes about an order should first be raised with haul support, who will work with the relevant seller or delivery partner to resolve them.
Unsolicited Material
haul does not accept unsolicited ideas or materials submitted outside of normal support channels, and takes on no obligation regarding such submissions.
Updating These Terms
The version of these terms in effect at the time of your order applies to that order, even if the terms are later updated.
Platform Use Only
The haul platform may be used only for its intended purpose of browsing and ordering from participating shops, not for unrelated commercial activity.
Pricing and Errors
Prices are set by individual sellers and shown at checkout; in the rare case of a pricing error, haul may cancel and refund the affected order.
User Conduct and Rules
You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to circumvent its security, or interfere with other users' access to it.
E-Platform for Communication
Order updates, delivery status, and support messages are sent to you through the app and the contact details on your account.
Trademark, Copyright, and Restrictions
All haul branding, design, and software are protected by intellectual property law and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Disclaimer
The platform is provided on an "as is" basis; haul does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every listed item will remain in stock.
Delivery Related
Delivery windows are estimates based on store and rider availability and may occasionally be delayed by traffic, weather, or store readiness.
Cash on Delivery
haul currently processes payments online at checkout; cash on delivery is not offered during the pilot.
Multiple Sellers
A single order may include items from more than one shop, each fulfilled and packed independently before a combined pickup.
Charges
In addition to item prices, checkout may include a flat delivery fee; any additional charges will be clearly itemised before payment.
Seller Side
Sellers using haul to list and fulfil products are additionally bound by the separate Seller Terms & Conditions.
Alteration Services
Any in-store alteration or tailoring services offered by a shop are arranged directly between the buyer and that shop and are not managed by haul.
